GitHub

Turns pull requests, reviews and comments into a record of each engineer's work.

Set it up

A GitHub organization owner installs it once, then a Find Your Great admin connects it. If you are both, it is one step.

  1. Open Integrations in Find Your Great and click Install on the GitHub card.
  2. On GitHub, choose your organization and the repositories to include, then click Install.
  3. Not a GitHub owner? GitHub sends your request to an owner. Once they approve, it shows up on the card.

What we read

  • Pull requests: titles, descriptions, commit messages, file names and line counts
  • Issues, discussions, releases and workflow runs
  • Reviews and comments, and who wrote them
  • The few lines of code a review comment points at, read only to describe what the comment is about, never stored

What we never do

  • We never store your code.
  • We never see repositories you didn't pick.
  • We never change anything on GitHub.

Turn it off

  • On GitHub, open your organization's Settings, then GitHub Apps, and uninstall Find Your Great.

Everything we store is encrypted at rest. More in our privacy policy, subprocessors and trust center. Questions? Contact support.
